1.  2/3rds of all the earth's population live here on 1/3rd of the earth's landmass

2.  80% of all unevangelized people on earth live here.

3.  Almost all the 55 least-evangelized countries are located here.

4.  97% of the persons in the least-evangelized countries live here.

5.  8 out of 10 of the poorest of the poor live here, existing on an average of $1.40 a day.

6.  2.7 billion adherents of 3 large non-Christian religions live here:

            Buddhists (600 million)

            Hindus (1 billion)

            Muslims (1.1 billion)

7.  This is often referred to as the RESISTANT BELT due to the masses of people who are reluctant to accept the Christian faith because doing so often means persecution.

8.  By 2001, the Church of the Nazarene had established entry into at least 30 countries in the 10/40 window.

In the 10/40 window, preaching the Word of God and the gospel message is not permitted.  Christians actually face persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ and their loyalty to the church.

But the great commission proclaims:  GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL...so what does the church of the Nazarene do about those countries where we cannot enter?  DO we just let things be????
